Mobility Worldwide MO-Columbia Update

This is a partial quote from one of my favorite songs, by Bob Dylan:
“How many times must the cannonballs fly, before they are forever banned?
How many deaths will it take ’till He knows that too many people have died
The answer, my friends, is blowing in the wind, it’s blowing in the wind.”

Hope Arrives with Mobility

From A GIFT FOR A GIFT:

Unemployment Over 50%

Kamphata Village, Ngabu, Chikwawa District … It is a sad fact, but a true one that this young woman has never been able to go to school. Why? From birth she has been unable to walk, and in Malawi there is little or no opportunity for a disability this serious. Unable to move around, too big to be carried, with no way to go to school, the impossible of completing an education, and almost no chance for leading a normal life, this girl has been facing almost impossible odds. Suncreek UMC youth build Gifts of Mobility in Austin

From https://www.facebook.com/john.rudd.1426/posts/1926076680982716:

Last week MW-Austin hosted the youth from Suncreek UMC in Allen, TX at the shop. We had a total of 62 youth and 9 adults on Monday thru Wednesday. What a group: they assembled 23 mobility carts and packed 36 carts for shipping. Our main problem now is that they used up almost all of our manufactured parts. That is not a complaint, in fact we praise God for their efforts. We just have to get to work and make more parts.
If you are interested in working at our shop or have a group that would like to come work, get in touch with us at info@mwaustin.org.
