PET carts to benefit more people with disabilities
For the second consecutive year, the US organization PET International sent to the Welfare Board of Guayaquil a new donation of carts PET (Personal Energy Transportation), which will be distributed free of charge to adults who have physical disability in the lower limbs (legs ) and are of limited economic resources.
PET carts have 3 replaceable rubber tires and air catalina system to be pedaled with arms. Its assembly is mixed, has a base metal and wood and a hand brake made of solid metal to stop the car completely, providing operator safety.
The Guayaquil Welfare Board calls for persons who require mobilization of this implement, to withdraw the application, for it offers three options:
