mission of ACTS (A Call To Serve) that has its office here in Columbia. PET
& Container Project have made several shipments of PETs and sewing machines
to Georgia. Georgia is very near to Sochi, the site of the 2014 Olympics.

*** Project Hope Success Story: Aizada Kozhobergenova is 35 years old. and
lives with her mother in Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan. Until now she moved with
the help of some old crutches. This was the reason she finished only three
classes of school at home. She can read a little bit. She receives a meager
pension of $43 a month. She tried to make money and helps her mother
knitting socks and baby things which she sells to her neighbors. Aizada
could not believe that she had received her PET free of charge and now she
can get out of her home and go visit friends and can even help her mother go
and buy products.
