“Twelve years ago Edir Lamzarov suffered a massive ischemic left side stroke. Consequences of this stroke were right side hemiparesis (partial limit of limbs moving from the right side) and aphasia (speech disturbance). He walks with a cane, but gets tired very quickly. Edir had no possibility to buy the simple wheelchair and it would be quite difficult for him to operate with one hand. When Edir received the PET on June’ 2012 he learned to operate it with one hand very quickly. Now he can go outside and even ride to visit fellow villagers.
