On Sept. 16th Steve Canfield and I will fly to Cotonou, Benin. While there we will distribute 166 P.E.T.s total that were built at PET Affiliate shops in Maine, New York and Tennessee. We will distribute in Dassa (central Benin), Abomey (where we visited a children’s home last year), and Tanguieta in the far north. As a part of the trip we hope to examine some of the P.E.T.s that were distributed last year for wear and user modifications. Once again local men will help with unpacking, assembly, and will be taught about P.E.T. maintenance. We will return home on Sept. 26th.
